their hunt started back in fallarbor. wild pokemon have started to populate the area more and more. this was mainly due to the destruction of their home. the environment was a mess, and he needed to clean it up as best as he could. for now, mateo and sceptile did as such. taking on whatever pokemon attempted to cause havoc on route 113.

"cleave it with leaf blade!" sceptile would strike at the wild pokemon. sending it flying into a tree. "it's standing up," he warned sceptile. the riolu was durable, and a fighter. normally that surprise strike would've taken a pokemon out in one swing.

the riolu would counter the second leaf blade with metal claw. sceptile would land at the same time as the riolu. the little blue dog was slippery, he would strike the grass-type in the stomach. then there followed a uppercut. "enough playing around, leaf blade again!" he'd hit the blue dog. afterwards, the riolu would fall upon the ground.

mateo threw a ball.
